Hi everyone,
first I would like to
thank you all
for the lovely comments you have been leaving, they really do mean a lot!
It`s my turn to post over on Susan K Weckesser blog today
and it`s another little recycled wooden project I have to share . . .
. . . remember this journal entry that I created back in August with
from the
Purpose Of Art stamp set
that Susan designed for Studio 12 for Polkadoodles in the UK . . .
well I thought it was about time I put the idea onto some of that wood I have in a pile in my shed.
I have used a few different products on the wood but other than that it`s just the same.

A
quick coat of Maimeri Gesso followed by a little Phthalo Blue Shade Pan
Pastel mixed with a little of the Gesso for the background. I didn`t
get a clean stamped image, but that`s easy sorted later with a fine
liner pen and a few doodle, doodle, doo`s.
I used a combination of Pan Pastels and Water color paints.
Before . . .
It may be only a little chunk of wood, but the do make me HAPPY!
Well that`s all from me today except to say
Thank you so much for taking the time to look
Here is a little peek at a project I have up over on
My Sweet Earth
today . . .

Well that`s all from me today
Till next time

Tracy I really enjoy looking at what you can do with wood. Your pieces would be so sturdy and make wonderful decor accents. I enjoyed reading your process too!
I LOVE that image, and it looks super on the wood, love the doodle doodle doos too! waving hi from the hills of North Carolina ♥
That's my sweet home, Chicago!!!!! :) :)
Love it, Tracy!!
I wish that you could make me one and send it to Charlotte!! I wonder what the shipping rates would be for a wooden art piece!!! Probably WAY WAY too high...!!
Anyway ... it's GORGEOUS and the SENTIMENTS makes me miss my hometown... but in a GOOD way!!
xoxo
Gorgeous!! Really love how creative you are with stamping & wood pieces. Sorry I haven't messaged you back, life has been busy will catch up with you next week. Hugs
fabulous! you do beautiful mixed media work, Tracy!
I love your blocks of wood - this is another beautiful make! Apologies for being missing in action lately - house-moving is an awful nuisance!!
