thank you for all the lovely comments you left on my post yesterday!

Welcome to day 2 of my growing in Unity week.
π
I wanted to show you just how versatile this stamp was . . . I`ve used it for cards, tags, canvas , art journaling, the altered matchbox from yesterday, to today's project . . .
an inexpensive metal serving spoon
altered into yet another gift . . . or I might keep this one, lol!
π©·
Super quick and easy to do with the help of . . .
Maimeri Gesso for the base
{ I smothered this all over with my fingers so I wouldn`t get brush strokes }
Archival ink pad for the stamp
{ I positioned the stamp where I wanted her, pressing with my hand to transfer the image }
Coffee was required mainly for her dress, hair and the top of the handle.
Pan Pastels mixed with water for the burst of colour
and
a fine black liner pen to add some doodles along the way
{ I do need to give it a quick spray with varnish to protect it, to stop it from scuffing }
I had a great time altering this spoon and hope you enjoyed looking.

Love this awesome altered spoon project, and you know I am in love with that stamp as well! I must get her out of her box and play this week!
Your house must be smelling absolutely divine at the moment with all the coffee. I think the extra doodles add a lovely finish to this one Tracey. It will look awesome with varnish over it!

Oh wow, you're so creative!!! There's so much you can do with stamps. Yesterday I bought my first set of pastels and canvas boards. I've never really done anything like this before but I want to explore my creativity. Started researching gesso, varnish, binders, etc. It's exciting! I love this idea of altering things around the house and making them really pretty for display or gifts :)
