Reminder box

 Hi, I hope you all managed to have a good Christmas. I can't believe it's January tomorrow!!! I know we've all been rushing around and it's been a worrying time so I've made this little box with some sayings to take out and remind ourselves of some important things in life to make us happy. 

I took one of the bigger matchboxes and layered and covered it with a pretty scrapbook paper, including the sides. I inked the edges of the papers with vintage photo ink. I've also put in a little brad at the front to help pull out the drawer. 

Using a piece of mixed media paper I stamped out the image and watercoloured it with distress oxide inks. I also stamped out the sentiments onto the papers and inked around the edges.

I adhered a piece of the scrapbook paper to the bottom of the inside of the box. I then stamped out the envelope stamp from the "letters of life" set onto the papers, fussy cut them out and adhered along the bottom. The sayings are all from the sets of the new November releases. They have been stamped in the vintage photo onto scraps of the scrapbook paper.
