 💛 Happy Sunday friends, please welcome the beautiful soul that is Shelley Skingle to the spotlight showcasing the wee 🐭 ones and the Angels 😇 of Love and Light ... pure joy to see they are.

 Hi I`m Shelley Skingle from the once steel city of Sheffield, a true Yorkshire lass.

I`ve loved anything to do with arts and crafts since a small child.

 

My addiction to stationary shops drove my pals nuts { I`ve been told over the years } The crafts at heart are stamping and mixed media. I love colour and texture.

 

I`ve only just been introduced to Tracy Easson`s designs and the wee ones, by a dear friend, and I`ve fallen for them all. I can relate to Tracy`s thoughts and spirit through the designs because I too hold someone dear to my heart that I truly miss, but I know she`s there every step of the way 💕

This was one of my first projects with Tracy`s designs. 

Seamus he is so adoreable. 

As you can see I`ve created a backdrop using inks, stencils and stamps then layered the piece with different elements out of my crafting stash. I`ve made sure that this wee chap is the main focus.

 Here is a watercolour background with the wee ones, just a girl and her forever friend. I`ve layered them up to give a more 3D look.

I`ve added extra sparkle to add the magic.

These two Angels are so beautiful. I just love creating small projects with them and the sentiments are so uplifting. The words are comforting.

I`ve used two different surfaces with these. One is watercolour card stock on canvas and the other is smooth stamping card on MDF.

I`ve created the backgrounds with inks and stencils. I`ve also used watercolour paints and pencils for the colouring and shading.

 

I would just like to say that Tracy`s designs have only just recently become a part of my crafting world but they are fast becoming an obsession.

The spirit they bring, the love that they show, is just so comforting. 

The time I create with them is so special.
