Materials:
The first step is to decide on which colours of oxide and which stencil you would like to use.
Think of your stencil as a stamp. Ink up the part you would like to use. Then holding it away from you, lightly spray with the water and press onto your paper. Dab with some kitchen roll to remove the excess. Do this with each of the 3 colours.
Let dry or use a heat gun if you're in a rush. Next put some of the oxide inks onto the acrylic block and again spray with a little water.
Randomly press the inked and watered block onto your page. This makes a lovely watercoloured, smooshy background. Next using a black inkpad stamp the words Brave Heart onto your project any way you like.
Stamp Faith onto some watercolour or mixed media paper and cut out. Using watercolours colour the image. I wanted some texture in her hair so made some pools of water. Adhere to the background.
I then added some of the smaller stamps from the soul whispers range to the background and the texture spots in her hair with the same colours of ink.
Clear emboss the words from Faith onto black card and emboss with white embossing powder. For extra clarity I dust with a little pad first and use a fine embossing powder. Cut out the words. Adhere to the background.
For some final touches I went around the text boxes with a white posca pen and added some little enamel dots in the right hand corner.
I hope you enjoyed my tutorial and will have a go. It's super easy and fun to do.
If you would like any of the stamps I have used they are available in Tracy's store here
