💙I must confess to not being a blingy person 😊 but I do love a touch of sparkle and with the new Pearlescent Mediums [ looove ] and Metallic Pans it was time to set to work on a hunk of wood measuring
30 inches by 6 inches
this is my largest doodle doodle doo yet!
💙A quick coat of Gesso was applied, doodling with a pencil and then time to add colour . . .

. . . once I had my girl in place and the warmth of the wood was still showing through I knew that all I had to do was add a touch of sparkle with a little Metallic and sparkle medium Pan Pastels . . .
✨️ I wanted those to speak for themself without battling against other colours.
💙 I just wish my camera had picked up all the shimmer and sparkle when I took these pictures!
I am sure she was telling me what to do ... right down to the words she wanted on her pretty dress from
" Somewhere over the rainbow "
✨️ You know I was singing away as I was painting her or should I say screeching . . . . .
