Craft Stampers Take it Make it Challenge ...Christmas Images using non Christmas stamps!

 Yeah . . . Friday at last!
Time to share my design team project for
and the technique this month is

Time to root around your stamp stash that isn`t a Christmas stamp and turn them into an image that is Christmas themed.
So, for example.... using a circle stamp to make a Christmas Tree shape, turn an oval shaped stamp into a penguin (not strictly Christmas, penguins, but you see where I'm coming from?!) Oval stamps could be Christmas lights, A tree branch stamp could be used as reindeer antlers, a triangle shape could become holly leaves.....etc etc etc..
Stamps you have created yourself are allowed, so carving that perfect oval shape to give you the size you need etc would be a great idea?
If you get really stuck, the easiest things would most likely be circles for a snowman or a square for a present, but I'm betting on some really creative ideas coming out of this theme!
My choice of stamp was the large scribbly circle stamp on the right from the
stitched and tied unmounted rubber stamp set
by
Paper bag studio
to create
my little red robin red breast.
How did it come about . . .
Just take a look at your stamps and let your imagination wander . . . a little like looking at clouds in the sky and imagine them to be faces, animals, angels, storks, witches, dinosaurs . . .
YES
I do see all these amazing things in the clouds, lol!
{ as a child our mum would play the cloud game to pass away the time and it`s stuck}
Once my chosen stamp had leaped out at me and hollered
"ROBIN, ROBIN "
all that was needed was to create my background -
first up a quick coat of Gesso all over . .
adding some sparkle with Metallic Pan Pastels . .
time to get that stamp inky using a permanent ink pad . . .
a little smooch of watercolour paints to bring him to life . . .
ending with a little doodle doo and some words printed out from the computer.

What a joy he was to create and will be looking at my stamps as if looking at the clouds!

We can`t wait to see what you all create and remember to check out the rest of the
 projects
EXPECT
to be
 wowed!
