πŸ’• WK 8 Premium Craft Brand Challenge - Use a stencil to make an embellishment . . .

πŸ’•
Good morning sweet friends, things are changing over at
the challenge will now be running fortnightly, which will give you more time to enter { woohoo}
Plus
it means you will get more inspiration and tips from the design team.
The theme is ongoing from last week
Keep an eye out
Premium Craft Brand
will have new products in the store soon and they are
Gorrrrrgeous!!!
Time to get started . . .
. . . a chunk of wood, Maimeri Matt Gel and pretty papers in shades of blue.
πŸ’™
I love to add papers and old book pages to my background for added texture, fixed in place with Matt Gel.
Time to splodge a little Gesso on and work it in with my hands.
  ✨️
A quick swipe with some kitchen roll will allow the background to peak through.
πŸ’™
I wanted a dreamy, softness to come through with the PP`s, I added a little water to the surface before taking a little PP on my finger and working it in all over, blast with the heat tool to dry it off before the next layer.
✨️ A smidgen of Diarylide Yellow Pan Pastel.
πŸ’™
Some splatters of PP`s mixed with water, followed by . . .
. . . Maimeri Iridescent Paste and Light Gold Metallic Pan Pastels on top.
While it was drying I turned my attention to the embellishments . . .
the boat!
✨️The sail was made with Dutch Doobadoo Fabric Art Jeans, pretty paper for the boat.
I did cut out the mast but ended up leaving it out.
✨️ I used a Dutch Doobadoo Stencil with Light Modelling Paste
and for the boat
Time to get messy again,lol
πŸ’™ Asplodge of Gesso, followed by PP`s
πŸ’™ a smidgen of Black applied with a Sofft Tool
πŸ’™ a touch of Iridescent Paste and a Graph It Shaker Pen to add some shimmer and detail.
✨️ The sail was given a treatment of Matt Gel and while it was wet a touch of Permanent Red Shade PP was applied.
πŸ’™ Okay so I had to go in and dirty it up a little, I applied Gesso, Phthalo Blue Shade, Black PP`s
ohhh and I had to add a smidgen of Light Gold Metallic PP.
πŸ’™ I fixed them in place with Matt Gel, Can you see where I kept adding more of the Light Gold Metallic Pan Pastel . . . I love how it shines through.

✨️ The words are Tim Holtz Stickers gifted to me by my Mum { thank you xx }

🩷 Whew if your still here . . . Thank you for sticking with this very looong post!

🩷 I hope I may have inspired even one of you to go get messy with some mediums, masks and paints.

🩷 Be sure and stop by the challenge blog for more inspiration from the design team.

πŸ’™
Till next time
Big hugs
