Growing in Unity Day 4 . . . woohooo!

Hello, sweet friends old and new.
Thank you again for all the beautiful comments you have been leaving . . .
my heart is full of joy today!
The inspiration for my project today came from
I adore this set and have used them a lot on various projects, but today  I was inspired by these two -
do
what
makes
you happy
 Paint
your dreams
along with another love of mine . . .
I looove to doodle and a favorite at the moment is this one . . . I call her legs . . . she makes me happy!
Sooo it was time to pull them altogether!
A quick coat over the old pages in my second hand book with some Maimeri Gesso and impatient as ever, I gave it quick blast with my heat tool.
I was so lucky to have been picked to win a grab bag of Unity Stamps for Friends with Flair and adore the script stamp that was included { sorry not sure what it`s called }I tend to use it a lot on my mixed media projects.
Next, time to take another book age and cut out the skirt and pocket, coloring with Pan Pastels using a sofft tool and sponge along with . . . I can`t help it I love using my fingers . . .they are looking mighty pretty right now as I type up this post, lol!!!
I wanted to add a little extra detail so . . . I whipped out my sewing machine and added a little stitching on the skirt . . . hmmmmm it needed more . . . tissue paper!
So easy, I just scrunched the tissue paper up and fixed in place with a little Matt Medium.
If a girls going to paint her dreams then she`s going to need some paintbrushes!
I am sooooo bad . . . I`ve been pretty busy creating and hadn`t realised that I hadn`t popped these 2 brushes into water . . . ruined totally but obviously meant to be, because now I had 2 brushes to add to this project, lol.
I just snipped them down to size and voila " Legs " now has some brushes to paint with!
Time to finish of the background . . . more Pan Pastels and my fingers along with a touch of Tim Holtz Distressed Ink Pad in Walnut Stain randomly applied around the edges with the blending tool.
Ink up the stamps with a black Archival ink pad, stamp and then snip them up fixing into place with Matt Medium.
Who would have thought that a few sentiments would end up inspiring this journal page . . .
Inspiration is everywhere
another of these beautiful stamps and oh so true!

Well that`s all from me today folks
but remember
Do what makes you happy
and
Paint your dreams

Catch you all tomorrow for my last post as

you have created some wonderful projects this week - yes it is fun to get all painty and I love to use my fingers also - I actually got a blister one week end rubbing my gelatos onto paper. But so much fun.

This project blows me away. It is so sweet and wonderful. I could imaging something similar on a canvas hanging on a little girls wall. So inspiring.

Simply brilliant - the dimension on the apron - the gorgeous little pocket - the misty gentle colours of the background - the texty textures. LOVE these pages, Tracy!
