πŸ’™ Eclectic Paperie`s Get Altered Challenge - Clocks. . .

πŸ’™ Hi everyone,
it`s time for another Get Altered Challenge with eclectic Paperie, the challenge is held on the first Thursday of ever month, this month our host is the beautifully talented Erin and the theme she has chosen is . . .
 alter a clock . . . any clock, old, new, borrowed or inherited!
One lucky entrant will win $15 to spend in Kims eclectic Paperie Shop..woohoo!
When Erin told the team what the theme was I was over the moon . . .
I hit the shops but alas, none jumped out at me . . .
πŸ’™ Sooooo Kane came to the rescue with this old pocket watch he had . . .
πŸ’™ I stripped it down and grabbed some Simple Stories papers
{ Oh my giddy aunt check out the new Simple Stories 6x6 pads that Kim has in the shop... swoon!}
along with
and got to work cutting the papers, chopping out words and inking the edges with the Distress Ink Pad.
πŸ’™ Once I was happy I fixed them all in place with Inkssentials Glossy Accents.
Before sealing it all in place I sprinkled a little Clearsnap Glitter in Fools gold for a little sparkle.
πŸ’™ You can just about make the glitter out . . . it really sparkles in the light I promise!
πŸ’™ Time to turn my attention to the inside, again chopping up elements from the papers, edging with the Distress ink pad and fixing in place.
πŸ’™ Sitting here singing away to myself
{ Not so sure the guys here would call it singing though }
You are my Sunshine, My only Sunshine
You make me Happy
πŸ’™ when Skies are gray
Yep a little more cutting and chopping to finish the inside!

" My family are my Sunshine when the skies above are gray "

Now for the outside back piece
πŸ’™ I have had the Tim Holtz Locket and key for a while just waiting on the right project to come along, I think it finishes the pocket watch along with a length of fabric stained with

Well that`s it from me today but be sure and stop by eclectic Paperie and see what Erin and the rest of the design team created.
Soooo go and grab a clock or time piece and get altering.
We can`t wait to see what you all create!

Going to enter it over at Paper Issues - Up in the clouds.

πŸ’™
Till next time
Hugs
