Twiggy tree...

Okay I have to come clean ...  and own up to my love of rusty tin, grungy strips of gingham material, hearts and.....twigs love em...this twiggy lives in our kitchen all year round ...  with strips of material and rusty tin hearts ...  but come the festive season ...  it moves into the hall wrapped in gingham fabric with twiggy hearts, tin hearts, strips of fabric tied on ... and this year I bought gingerbread dough{from ikea} which I've looked after in the fridge for over a month now ... happy to report it has now been rolled out, cut, cooked and strung ... it smells gorrrrgeous hanging on twiggy ... just out of reach of our mad dog storm ... who we know is a wee bit partial to gingerbread......
2 years ago I had some gingerbread hearts ...  which I left in the living room while ... we got the rest of the decorations for the tree out ... we put the decorations on the tree ... and next to go on was ... the gingerbread hearts .... but they were nowhere to be seen ... where had all 10 of them gone?????
Storm was being unusually ... quiet ...  and when we got close.....eughhhhhh what a smell!!!!
I still can't believe she ate all 10 of them ... she smelt  ... shall we say Festive ...  for days ...  so if your making gingerbread ... and ...  you have a mad pooch ... be warned ... they loooooove gingerbread!!!
