Just a Girl' dreaming in a good book ...

Hello and welcome to my second post for Just a Girl and her Imagination

I'm delighted to be sharing a book mark I've made.

I tend to leave them in books and then forget where they are, usually the charity shop.

As I didn't want the colour to move on the card so I chose to use acrylic paints rather than inks.

For the background I watered down the paints layering yellow, green then blue
and drying between colours.

On a fresh piece of card I stamped 'Just a Girl and Her Forever Friend' with black ink
and painted her body then her dress.
Little details were added, her cheeks, re did her eyes and mouth and the dots to her dress.
As this is a bookmark I drew a pile of books for her to stand on to make her taller.
A couple of splatters and stars fill the sky around her.

I couldn't stamp out 'Just a Girl' without her 'Forever Friend'
so he is sitting in my Easter tree on an egg.
Thank you for stopping by
The stamps that have been used are available in Tracy's Etsy shop.

There is an abundance of inspiration over at Friends of Tracy Easson Illustrations.

Have a lovely weekend
Debbie xx
