Craft Stamper Take it Make it Challenge . . . Embossing Powder Resist

Happy Friday sweet friends, I can hardly believe that June has been and gone . . . life is speeding up for sure!
It`s the first Friday of the month, which means it`s time to share my project for
July`s
and
the technique for this month is . . .
Technique: Heat emboss an image/design onto the project, then colour over the top with inks/watercolour paints. The embossing powder will resist the inks etc, and show through. This could form the focal point to your project, or be part of the background. Real stamping needs to be included as well (in case you doodled with an embossing pen for your resist rather than stamping!!)
We have a fantastic prize for this challenge, so be sure and check out all the details on the main blog HERE
Out to the shed I went to grab a few supplies!
{ it took a while to hunt things down . . . it`s been a while }
Unity Stamp Co. Happiness is . . .  by Phyllis Harris
 WOW white embossing powder
 Versamark ink pad
Watercolour paper
Winsor and Newton Watercolours
Paint brush and a jeely jar
Thread, sequins
Maimeri Gel Medium
this is my finished project after . . .
stamping with the versamark inkpad
Sprinkling and heating embossing powder
a quick wash of a few watercolours
splatters
sequins fixed in place
my sewing machine is kaput at the mo, but I have to have some threads, lol
sentiment stamped, embossed, washed and chopped up
and it was complete!
Loved this technique, can`t wait to see what you all create.

Be sure and pop by the main blog to check out the stunning creations the rest of the team have created, just click here.

It`s also time for
 Friends with Flair
over on the
Unity Stamp Co. blog today.
It`s been a while since I have hopped along with you all and I would like to wish all my American friends
a very
Happy 4th of July
Have a lovely weekend to you all!

Thank you for looking.
Till next time
Happy stamping
