Today's card features the gorgeous new set "Hector n Donall". I love this set because Hector reminds me of my gorgeous Milly who sadly passed over the rainbow bridge. So I've coloured Hector in her colours.
To start with I stamped out Hector n Donall onto watercolour paper and masking paper. I cut them out on the masking paper.
I picked 3 oxide ink colours ( you can pick your favourite colours). I then dabbed the lightest colour to my glass mat and sprayed it with water. I then smooshed my paper with the masked image on it into the ink. I used a heat gun to dry the first layer.
Do the same with the other 2 oxide colours you picked. If you want some dripping bits just spray with water and allow the ink to run. Make sure you let each layer dry first before adding the next.
I took some of the sentiments and tiny images in the set and stamped them randomly onto the piece. Stamp some of the sentiment off the page.
It does look a bit of a mess but don't worry it will be fine. Take off your mask gently.
Watercolour you images. I've used oxide inks smooshed onto my glass mat and picked up with a brush. I also added white pen highlights.
I've white embossed the sentiment onto black card and adhered it with 3D pads. To make the panel pop I've added a layer of black card and then adhered it to my base.
And there you go a completed card using Tracy's gorgeous new release.
