Good morning everyone, thanks so much for stopping by. I have a tutorial today for making an eclipse card. I used one of the adorable new Clan McDougal stamps, this is called 'Mouse Mail wi Tavey'
***
The first step is to stamp and colour your image
You will need to then die cut a shape or sentiment out of it - this can be quite scary when you've spent time colouring but just make sure you line it up correctly and tape the die in place and it will be fine. Try not to use a die that is too intricate and make sure you put all the pieces safely to one side
Cut another 3 from white card and then stick them together. The coloured piece needs to be then stuck to the top
Layer the coloured image onto black card and then glue the dimensional die cut back into the space
The final step is to stick the waste pieces back into the gaps to complete the picture
I added an extra tree and some snowflakes/glitter to finish the card
Our November challenge over on the Facebook Group is 'Get in the Christmas Spirit' I think this cute stamp works great for Christmas - there is still plenty of time to enter and we have lots of inspiration using Tracy's stamps
You can get the new collection and of course all the other sets in Tracy's Etsy store here
Never come across anything like this. It looks so cool . Thank you for sharing the technique
