πŸ’™ What's on your Work Desk Wednesday?745

πŸŒˆπŸ’•πŸ€Έ‍♀️ Goooood Morning πŸ€— it's Wednesday which means it's time for another look at what's on my workdesk πŸ‘€ linking up to the ⭐️ lovely Julia who hosts WOYWW over at the
❤️ If you'd like to join in or find out more ... then please hop on over 🀸‍♀️

πŸ’• I'm so sorry I didn't manage around all the gorgeous desks last week πŸ™ Looking forward to catching up with you all this week πŸ₯°

Sooo here's my desk 🀦‍♀️ laughing here ... as you can see the tidy desk didn't last πŸ˜πŸ™ƒπŸ€ͺ
What can I say except 😊 being surrounded by all the supplies on my desk has definitely got me INSPIRED 😘 this was the aftermath 🀸
I took this photo yesterday πŸ™ƒ before I went back into it adding layers ...  the aftermath of adding more to this ⬆️ is my desk shot this morning 😁 It's made me REALISE just how much I've MISSED being surrounded by my 🎨✏️πŸ–πŸ–Œ STASH ...
... to have them in easy reach has made such a difference 🀸 taking me back to how I used to create 🎨 and not worry.
πŸ’• Yesterday I took time to create a video πŸ“Ή  pushing myself out my COMFORT ZONE 😊 to share one of the ways I create backgrounds for my wee Junk Journals πŸ“š for the πŸ’™ beautiful ladies across in my Facebook group.

Since the hormones have started causing HAVOC I find myself ...
πŸ’™UNSURE πŸ’™ANXIOUSπŸ’™ not as CONFIDENTπŸ’™ amongst a multitude of other emotions ... even down to writing my blog posts and on Social Media!
So I'm FIGHTING back πŸ’• every SINGLE day πŸ’•  no matter how I'm FEELING πŸ’•
To SHOW up at my DESK πŸ’• to have HOPE πŸ’• to CREATE πŸ’• to be FREE πŸ’• DOING it for ME.
πŸ’• The words up above in the photo ... a gentle REMINDER πŸ’• hope and fear set free.
Once I FINISHED recording πŸŽ₯ I just let myself GO ... adding more layers  to the back and front of the paper 🎨 until I FOUND myself SMILING πŸ˜ƒ  LAUGHING πŸ˜„ SINGING 🎢 no plan in my head πŸ™ƒ just PLAYING UNTIL I FOUND my JOY ⭐️

I'd jist been talkin tae my Wee πŸ˜‡πŸ Anes aboot buildin a ROCKET πŸš€ tae tak us tae the moon πŸŒ™ IMAGINE my JOY at finding one among the layers πŸ₯° This whole page front and back REMINDS me of the PLACE I go πŸ’• WHEN I TRUST and LET GO ... the PLACE WHERE my Wee Anes come fae, the PLACE where I can FEEL my DAD ⭐️ so close.
My eyes πŸ‘€ most definitely held a TWINKLE by the end along with the paintiest 🎨 of hands 😘
with a warm HEART ❤️ and my SOUL singing🎢

Just a WEE snippet from my week πŸ’• unplanned as ever, not sure what I'm going to write before I start 😊

πŸ’™ Thank you so much for stopping by πŸ€— for taking the time to listen to my ramblings πŸ’• Whatever you have planned in the days ahead I hope you find much JOY ⭐️ See yooou around the desks today 🀸

Much love ❤️ and hugs πŸ€—
Tracy

I enjoyed the video, thanks for sharing! How lovely that having your stash around you has meant such a difference, it’s a small thing but obviously an important one. I do like the way you build up the layers, it’s so pretty. Re the brain fog, it happens to so many of us, don’t panic, you will get through it even if it doesn’t feel like it at the time.

Hi Tracy, I love your video and the stories told through the colours and layers of your beautiful work. So glad you’re fighting back with your art. Sending big hugs. It was lovely to hear your voice. The little circles at the end were so fine and your junk journals look beautiful.

Take care and happy WOYWW

I also enjoyed the video, I liked the background and the little book you showed us. You have an infectious laugh. Brain fog us something I have not experienced, but I am sure it will pass and soon, I hope. Happy WOYWW from # 3.

Sending huge hugs to keep going and keep crafting ❤️. I loved watching you work and I wondered if you had done other videos, so I clicked on YoueTube and fell down the rabbit hole 🀣🀣. I scrolled down seeing lots of clips from Supernatural and Doctor Who intermingled with craft videos, half an hour later I remembered what I was looking for 🀣. Then my husband said was I ready to go shopping? back home with a custard slice (well there are two in the packet)😊. Love your little books and your background card. Hugs to Bella too x Angela #4

Oh my life the video is BRILLIANT, so glad you found your JOY from the course. Are those little pots gouache perchance? I've popped some on my Amazon list for Christmas, in fact I've popped loads of stuff on there hehehe. Husband and son will have a field day choosing this year. Oops just added palette knives and brayers, eeekk. They usually ask me what I'd like and I have no answer, how surprised they will be. I definitely find my joy in the little things too, already cut a few pieces out of my mop up kitchen towel and keep my baking parchment palette paper too, what am I like??? The fog will ease and I'm mighty impressed that you have journaled your meno journey in art. Here's to finding more and more rockets as the days go by. You fill me with hope and joy and wonderment. I'm very late calling round today but I'm not sorry because we have had a very special day making memories with little Louie...and no sewing was done at all.
I'm sorry you are suffering so much with the hormones....keep fighting back my friend. I really love your video and how you create best surrounded by all your art supplies...keep it up.
Hugs,

Must confess I a only part way through your video. What I saw I have enjoyed and I will finish it. It reminded me of the backgrounds i used to do but somehow although i try to replicate them I am not having much success. This old age stinks! A bit like what you have been talking about. Change is not nice as what guise it comes in.
Anyway, I followed your video up to the olink to Louise Fletcher (hope I got the name right) and then I went in search of her.
Now I am going back to your video - it was lovely to hear your lovely Scottish lilt again, missed it.
Love to go back to the days in Carnforth.
Hugs, Neet 16 xx

Ah hormones. They can be a struggle for sure. Funny but Darling Daughter is plagued with them each month and it's only looking at it all from the outside you see what you must have been like to live with LOL! That video was lovely and oh my but the pages simply stunning. I love the free and easy splashing around of colour and line. Gorgeous.
Hang in there!

Happy lovely day late WOYWW!
