Everything YOOOOU see is being used but it's now at the point of being πŸ™‰ unworkable ... ohhhhh the shame of it!

πŸ€— I rescued an old second hand book πŸ“š from being thrown out to give it a new lease of life πŸ’› and feel loved again.

I started by staining 🧀 some yummy scraps of Tilda fabrics, an old pillowcase, bandages and some calico in coffee  ... I WISH I liked the taste πŸ˜‹ but at least our home smelt deeeelicious lol!
Some wonky tonk πŸͺ‘stitching🧡  was added ... perfectly imperfect 😘

😍 A pure JOY to watch my Mum bring the
Wee 🐭 Anes tae be 🎨 Each one absolutely GORRRRRGEOUS ⭐️ The Wee Drummer is in memory of my much loved and missed Dad ⭐️ Dad used to play the drums πŸ₯ fingers always tappin.
Toooo this wee one who randomly POPPED oot my ✏️ pencil whilst I was bletherin on the phone ... She wouldn't leave me alone 😊 whispering away πŸ₯° until I warmed her up with a mix of watercolours and acrylics... I fell in LOVE  with her ZEST for COLOUR and WINDMILLS  ... do you REMEMBER them from childhood ? They came on a stick ... many happppy hours spent blowing tooo make them burl 🀸

Toooooo this ...

I do love your use of words - wonky tone stitching and nature’s bunting will stay with me and get used! I do so love it when people have the knack of layering fabric and bits and pieces, it’s something I find hard to do (a bit like good abstract painting, looks so easy but actually….). Lovely pics of your Mum painting too xx

I too love the smell of coffee but don't drink it. I enjoy making Chas a cuppa though and sniffing the air as the hot water infuses it
How lovely in that the wee drummer is in memory of your much loved dad, will we be seeing anew character shortly in memory of sweet Rosie? So pleased for you that the collection is going well.
The wee one who randomly popped out when you were on the phone is so pretty, I love your girls. Always have.
Have a great week, hugs, Neet 4 xx

Hi Tracy, lovely post today. Loving the finished book cover and it's great to see you crafting with your mum. My mother did lots of sewing and knitting when she was younger but has no interest anymore and although she's 94 now she could do some but I can't persuade her to join in. Wishing you a very happy and creative woyww, Angela x9x

A fabulous post today Tracy I wish I could get a closer look at your book though. I am gathering fabric for mine and looked at several tutorials, but I have still to decide on how I am going to do it. I have some canvas that my father had, possibly he was thinking of making some canvases, although he never painted on canvas. It’s very stiff, I might cut off a bit and wash it to see what it’s like afterwards. I think it’s wonderful to have your mother painting with you. Happy WOYWW. Angela #10

How lovely to paint with your Mum! Treasure it, record her voice as well. Sorry, getting maudlin.
I adore the girl with the windmills; she’s so lovely.
Take care

I love your characters and how they pop out at random times to introduce themselves to you, like you are an apartment building full of hundreds of apartments, and doors are opening at random times and the dwellers are coming out to greet you. So wonderful! This happens to me with my art journals, I just start creating without thinking and out comes a beautiful page! I LOVE the choir, especially since I just joined one! Are your stamps available in Canada? Where would I go to purchase them? Have a great week, Lindart #19
