I'm so HAPPPPY to have the company of the beautiful soul ❤ who is
⭐ Karen Salt ⭐
from across in the
πŸ₯° It's been such a joy to see Karen's projects pop up, I fell in love with her paper boat from one of the recent challenges.
πŸ™ Thank yooou Karen ...  for taking my Wee Anes to your heart ❤️ and bringing them to be through your eyes!
🀸‍♀️I'm going tooo pass you over to Karen 🀸‍♀️
Hi, my name is Karen, I am honoured that Tracy asked me to appear in the spotlight on her blog, after the initial giddiness I thought oh dear what's a spotlight? Or words to that effect!!!! So here goes ...

I am in my fifties!!! I live in a village near the town of Bingley in West Yorkshire, and I am a school administrator for a local Primary School which I love, and have been doing this for the past 16/17years.
I have two boys and a hubby ...  who puts up with my crafting (OBSESSION) hobby ... but I just love creating and generally having fun ... some ideas work out, but some don't ... but at the end of the day it's just usually a bit of paper and if I put it to one side and go back to it I realise they aren't that bad. It's my escapism from everyday life and a way of relaxing.
I have never entered any challenges before so I was thrilled to win the accordion book challenge ... so if you are dithering ... have a go
 ... I definitely had beginner's luck haha.
My inspiration for this started with having a go via YouTube with folding a paper boat ...  as Tracy had put one of these on her stamp set and it grew from there.

One of the things I do like to do is try to be organised ...  others may say I'm organised chaos ... however, I have started to make mini books so that I can record which stamp sets I have from different suppliers, and also my Tim Holtz ink supplies ... as in the past I have duplicated items ...  so I thought this would be a good way of keeping a record of what I have.
Here's a little step by step on how I created my Tracy Easson book.
I used a sizzle die.
Spray ink background.
A bit of stamp doodling ... I love this ladder stamp from the Betsy Bottoms stamp set.
Stamp Morty then repeat, as it's near impossible to cut out the tiddly bits, then colour ... I then glued the coloured image on top.
Here's a look inside at a few pages ... the more stamps Tracy designs ... the more pages you can add!
Leaving room to record my supplies.

Another few projects I've created ...

October's challenge for
The Friends of Tracy Easson Illustrations Facebook Group.
Can you spot the arrow stamp from the Stay True set used for the trees!!
A fabric brooch.
Here's a closer look at my little stick scroll for a swap I took part in across in the Facebook group ...
Can you spot the arrowhead along with another of my favourite stamps ... Betsy Bottoms ladder ... I used it to create the windows along with the bubble border stamp for the door.

I just wanted to add that everyone over in the Friends group is so talented and welcoming ... a real family community, as for the lovely Tracy having never met her ... I feel like she's a friend that I've known for years  ... so amazing with her artwork, keep on doing what you do Tracy xxx
So in the words of looney tunes ...

" That's all folks "
