If they turn up at yours🧹brush them off your shoulders and say "Not Today" 😘

πŸ’• My days have been full with so much to be grateful for but that aside ... I have to say I've found it a very emotional week as I know others have with the passing of the Queen ... I found it terribly sad but never expected it to effect me as it has ...  It brought my grief for my Dad ...   that bubbles just under the surface ...  bubbling up and over, swamping me at times ...  a rollercoaster of emotions swirling ... leaving me feeling a little adrift ... so as I do often ...  I call on my Dad  to shine his light from next door ...  dry my eyes and remember to make each day count ⭐ one step at a time as our tomorrow's are never promised.

Phew, if you're still here ... Thank YOU ... I never plan what's going to pop out my fingers (finger toooday πŸ‘‡ chin still resting in my other hand)
as I type ... pretty much in the same way with what drops out my pencil ✏️  it surprises ME at times!

If like me you could doooo with a humungus hug πŸ€— you've come tooo the right place ... come in close, closer ... wee bit closer πŸ€—πŸ€—πŸ€— in this moment I'm holding you so close in my love and light ... thank yooou ⭐ for bring here and for being uniquely you ... will leave ye with the Chieftains 🐭 message πŸ’• born from the love of my Dad ⭐ to remind us ...
Here's to a happy WOYWW 😊 Wishing ⭐ you much love and light in your days ahead.

Huuuugest of hugs
Tracy

I am exhausted reading all your updates! How DO you manage it? And what to comment on first. As I am typing two fingered (laid up with a tragically bad back) I will be briefer that usual :D All the little mouses are adorably cute, the Brave HEart laddie is the cutest of all. Your notebooks are amazing, and the calendar looks fab as well - I just cannot bear to consider 2023 yet. maybe soon, but not yet. Have a wonderful week!
Happy WOYWW from my bed with a bad back. Ugh!

How lovely to step inside your world and share the busy world of your desk, I can hear the chatter in the background of your message coming from the wee folk.
I’m so glad they have the excitement and fun to help conquer the sadness and emotion of earlier this week, like you I’m sure there are so many of us for whom the raw wound of grief was reopened, but the wise words of the Queen have helped me, ‘grief is the price we pay for love’ how true! She chose to pass on my mums second anniversary so it will be a date I’ll never forget!
Your dad has a wonderful way of guiding your creativity and inspiration, and I’m sure the queen would certainly have had a tin of shortbread close by to share in her Balmoral home, and would be chuckling to imagine her military drummers playing along to a shortbread tin drum! Perhaps one of the wee folk in their band has a set of pipes to accompany the marching tunes I can hear being rehearsed?
Sending love and hugs to you all

Morning Tracy. My goodness - for only working with the one finger - the other hand holding your head and contemplating the lovely sunny day - you have certainly packed in a huge amount this morning. Well done. Yes, one way and another, an incredibly emotional roller coaster of a week! It was that lone piper that really finished me off!!
Take care. God bless.

Oh Tracy, you're such a tease, so many sneaky peaks but I cannae quite see clearly enough 🀦‍♀️
I think the Queen passing has allowed a lot of our grief to bubble up, it's been quite an emotional time. I did enjoy (maybe not the right word) seeing
the Queen travel through Scotland, I saw Rosyth, where Dad was, which led to lovely chats about our time up there.
I bet your merry little band have been practising and taking singing lessons from you.....that did make me smile πŸ˜ƒ
Have a blessed week πŸ₯°πŸ˜˜❤️

It has been a sad week but good to see everyone coming together too. Hearing if local residents taking drinks to those hardy souls in that long queue and and all the friendships made while waiting their turn. Only in the UK eh we love a queue. Beyond excited to see the new calendar I shall enjoy clearing a space for such a treasure xxx❤️🌈❤️

Always love to see what you've been up to, busy as ever. It has been a sad week but at the same time I tend to feel it's a bit easier when someone has had a long and happy life, it's when people die so young that I feel really sad. I hope Charles can manage the great responsibilities that he has found himself inheriting as he is not a young man now but I'm sure he will get plenty of help from the family. Take care and sending wishes for a happy and creative woyww, Angela x9x

I think it was the Queen's piper in Westminster Abbey which finished me off on Monday Tracy. I was glad that her journey home started in Scotland as it meant such a lot to her. Hugs to you and the wee ones. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah #1

Aw, lovely to have Brave Heart on the post, just what we all needed I think. I agree, the grief that bubbles beneath the surface was well on view with me too, it’s difficulty to put into words but am very grateful to not be alone with these feelings. Loving the idea of your notebook and calendar, don’t forget to let us know when you’ve listed it so we can all gather round for a looksee! Have a good week gal.

Your calendar front is gorgeous and the Chieftains message is wonderful. A visit to your blog is always a happy experience. The funeral day was very sad and such a long walk too. The end of an era. Happy WOYWW. Angela #18

I was way more affected by the Queen’s funeral and all the ceremony than I’d have believed possible and yes, it made me remember my parents too, both long gone and so very much missed still. Sending a hug to you xx. Amazing to see you’ve bought out a calendar, you always have so many wonderful projects on the go!

I won’t be around for the next couple of weeks, see you soon!

Oh Tracey, how the passing of our Queen has made my emotions and my grief of the past few months bubble up. Then I hear that yet another friend has passed, and this time in tragic circumstances. I seem to go from one tearful day to another at the moment. It is comforting to know I am not alone in this.
Your post, this morning has helped me so much, I love the Mouseker Buskers and the special appearance of the Ducky Quacky Goosey Dancers. The mere mention of their name has made me smile. I will remember to dust off Doosie Doubter and Negative nellie each and every time they turn up, thanks for giving me the magic word "Not Today".
And a big thank you for Brave Heart and You.
Hugs, Neet 3 xx

Aw Tracy the calendar and notebook look amazing, I really must check out your shop....Curious how last weeks events brought things in our lives to mind. I still mourn my Dad's passing although it was nearly 25 years ago. However, what really sparked in me was mourning the loss (despite her still being alive) of that of my Mother. Of all the years of heartache, the yearning to be loved just for me, the hoping it would change... so yes I leaned in for your hug and much appreciated too. Hugs BJ#10

Is the notebook you show on this post the same as the one currently in your shop or another one? Waiting in anticipation for the calendar.... BJ#10
