Ooooh, love it. Love it ALL! I am inspired by the sticky tape. I think I just got a roll but fear it might be gummed rather than truly sticky. Ah well - I do have part of a roll of thicker kraft paper sticky tape so... And your plant, waiting to tumble....I recall seeing a very southern (USA) garden gall say every pot needed a "thrilla , a filla, and a spilla!" - a thrilling centre piece, and lovely filler and a plant that will spill over the edge. I have always remembered that...and now I bet you will too. Looking forward to more glimpses of your junk journal.
ReplyDeleteHappy WOYWW day!

Good morning Tracy. I love you new characters on your desk. I can understand your excitement at the upcoming TV show. I was wondering how you did your washi tape? I bought a roll for the same purpose a week or so ago, but not sure how to do it apart from sticking it down first or doing it actually on the roll. Love that wee mouse! Happy WOYWW. Angela #11
ReplyDeleteHellooo Angela ππ₯° thank yooou so much π Oh this is gummed tape, I sliced it up to the right width and length before stamping and painting with watercolours and acrylics. I used a cardboard reel that had ribbon on it,painted it up and stuck the end of the strip down. ... if it's sticky back tape you have ... I usually pop it down on my glass to keep it in place before stamping and painting ... hope that helps π€ Big hugs π₯°ππ€πππ§‘

Been adding a few layers to my colouring in after learning some tips from the lovely Lou Withers at Stamp Magic . And doing what I find hard and walking away while they dry before doing anymore. My darling hubby is making me a contraption to dry baubles on which my friend Karen bought for my birthday last year then going to try to stamp and paint them though I am a bit cack handed . If at first you don’t succeed etc etc
ReplyDeleteAll bursting with love n joy and so much happiness π thank you gor sharing with us all such beauty π π I must get on and have a play with my stamps..

Such excitement and joy in your post, what a pleasure to read! I love how everything just seems to boil up to the surface, then onto paper for you. It doesn't for me! I love the rainbows, and all the little stories attached to the friends! Have a great week, Lindart #18
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to watching Leonie's shows on catch up after work next Wednesday as I can't record them Tracy. I know Rachel has been having fun with your stamps and has shared the shows on the JJAMMMA FB page. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah #2
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely post yet again, so happy and full of glee. Have to say snap with the back issue, saw my osteopath yesterday, think it needs a few weeks of him sorting it out for me. Love all the fabrics on your life is samples and the rainbows are dreamy. Thanks about the heads up for create and craft on 29th,next week! Just popped it in my diary. Thanks for the visit BJ #14
ReplyDeleteFabulous as ever Tracy. I tried to comment at lunchtime at work from my phone but can't seem to access the comment button then... Love all the little people. thanks for dropping by and the birthday wishes. helen #4
ReplyDeleteI smiled when I read your blog, there’s so much colour and bubbling over of excitement! The new character on the desk is very cute and loving, some sheet glass is definitely needed so they don’t get lost accidentally. Good luck with the TV show, hope it’s successful!

Hi Tracy, we're back. It's been a lovely day but very hot but dogs were fine as they wore their cooler coats, I wish they made them for humans. Matilda is a sweetie but mice are well known for getting their nose into something they shouldn't Lol! She looks like a Maggie to me but I'm sure she will let you know her name soon. Definitely sounds like a busy week for you but a good one I think. Wishing you a very happy and creative woyww, Angela x9x
ReplyDeleteDespite the pain in your back you still shine through with your lovely way of writing for us.
ReplyDeleteWhat a treat your desk is - is that a red squirrel feeder I spy? Do you have red squirrels where you are? We have grey ones but I would love to see red squirrels in my garden.
Ooh Matilda - how many times have you told her about licking the coffee?
Hope you get to protect your wee ones with a glass top. Your lovely girl and her blue friend are beautiful.
Hugs, Neet 3 x(second time I tried - the internet here is terrible)
So much joy and colour on your desk this week - what is the secret of your productivity? Thanks for your earlier visit, Have a good week, love n hugs Cindyxx #5

Nw I'm thinking where is my sticky tape I made years ago/ i'll have to hunt that out when I get home from house dog sitting this week, honestly...Cornwall last week and now we are looking after a lovely house and garden and two dogs. There was a deer in the garden last night, it looked in the window to see what we were watching on the telly! I have brought some crafty things with me but the dogs seem to think they can run off with it! Sorry I'm so late, only just plugged my computer back in. So have a great weekend, Keep on crafting! I love it all!! Happy WOYWW!? ((Lyn))#16
