π₯°ππ€Έ♀️ Goooood Morning, I hope you all had a gorgeous Easter Weekend π It's Wednesday again which means I'm sharing a little of what I've been up toooo π since last week π€Έ♀️ along with a peek at what's on my desk π I'm linking up with the lovely Julia who hosts WOYWW over at the
If you'd like to join in or find out more ... then please hop on over π a warm welcome you will receive.
π€Έ♀️π Don't fall over .... but π I finally cracked open my new paints πππ€Έ♀️ happiest of days it was ... it's been tooooo long since I lost myself in colour ...
π¨ I took the time to swatch the paints before ...
π taking my pencil ... letting this little one pop out ... no filters on the photo ... the colours are so rich.
π¨ The time passed ... surrounded by her whispers ... happy hands and heart ...
π Finding peace ... tooooo another ...
ππ€Έ♀️ heart bursting, soul singing moment ... opening the kiln after the first firing with my pot from last week ...
π₯°π€Έ♀️π It survived wooohoooo ... I was worried it might explode!!
π¨π€Έ♀️ Here's my workdesk this morning ...it's so sunny ☀️ ππ€Έ♀️ the pot came out white with no cracks, woohooo ... pulled up my brave girl pants ... started to add underglaze this morning ... it's both exciting and scary all at the same time ☺️
I've never used them before ... watched lots of videos π if you have any tips they would be much appreciated. I've just added chestnut brown to the umbrella ... going to take my sponge, clean up the edges π next.
π I'll pop it in the kiln π₯ once I'm finished adding colour and it's all dry ... learning patience through working with clay!
ππ I've taken a few days of as Alex's on holiday π€Έ♀️ππ looooove our time together π₯° much needed it is!
❤I'll be around visiting the WOYWW girls ... one of my favourite parts of the week π€Έ♀️πππ₯°❤ seeing what everyone else is up toooo. To those that stopped by last week ... thank you from my heart ❤your words are read and mean so much.
π₯°πWish me luck with the underglazes and the next firing ... hopefully be finished to share next week ... once I pluck up the courage to add paint πplus my new stamp samples will be here π€Έ♀️ππ
⭐ Wishing you all a gorgeous week ahead with all you have planned.
Much love, light, joy in your days with lots of hugs

There is no end to your talents, love them x
ReplyDeleteHi Tracy, loving the pot. You will have realised by now that joining in here seems to bring Wednesday round very quickly.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your visit to mine and for your lovely comments. This is the 11th Luna Latin rabbit I’ve made now plus I’ve made many characters from her next book.
ReplyDeleteI really love the pot you’re making. I used to love pottery at school and if I ever win the lottery I’d love to treat myself to a potters wheel and kiln.
Hugs,

Well done on the pot. I used to ceramics in my younger life. I just realized I haven't been leaving my number in all these comments, now that I am almost done. On the other blog hop we don't have to leave our number; we just comment on all of them, but here is my #3. Happy WOYWW
ReplyDeleteI hope the underglaze goes right, I never expanded my creativeness to pottery but seeing what you did my fingers start to itch... sooo lovely! Your drawing/painting as well, those colours look indeed richt! Thanks for stopping by my blog yesterday, I wish you a lot of sunshine and a lovely week! Love from Holland, Marit #4
ReplyDeleteI love everything about your girl artwork from her rosy cheeks to the pattern on her sweater - you have a way with drawing that captured the character so well. And your swirly girl on the pot is extra lovely too now that the underglaze worked so well, love love love it!
