๐Ÿ’•What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday 668

 ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿคธ‍♀️ Goood afternoon ๐Ÿคธ‍♀️๐Ÿ’•
it's that time again for a look at what's on my
workdesk Wednesday.
I'm linking up to the lovely Julia who hosts WOYWW over at the
๐Ÿคธ‍♀️ If you'd like to join in please hop on over ๐Ÿคธ‍♀️
You will be given a warm๐Ÿค— welcome.

⭐Thank you so much to everyone for stopping by and leaving such lovely comments on here and on my social media ๐Ÿ˜Š they mean a lot!
A wee look at my desk from outside ... couldn't take one from the inside as I have my drawings all ... taped toooo the window ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜˜ I really do ... much to Alex's dismay ๐Ÿ˜ฎ I need to have them lined up in front of me ... I took this pic between the gap๐Ÿ˜Š this wee ๐Ÿญ one keeps me company as I work ... a very happy wee ๐Ÿญ soul he is!

Sadly not a lot has been going on ... as I took the dreaded lurgy last Thursday ๐Ÿคข I've spent most of my time since then sleeping ๐Ÿ›Œ the days and nights away!
I'm only now starting to feel normalish again ๐Ÿ˜‰
Sooo what can I show yoooou ๐Ÿ‘€ hmmmmm ... how about a photo of the finished pot I made a few weeks ago using the pinch pot technique ... it had it's final firing in the kiln on Sunday and it ๐Ÿคธ‍♀️๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿคธ‍♀️ Survived!
Out it came Monday morning ๐Ÿคธ‍♀️ it surely brightened up my day ☀️ it made me smile wide with my Soul singing with pure joy!
Keeping it in the same style as the cup I shared last week ... the same glaze with a heart inside ๐Ÿ’›
I added a few words for the Soul around the outside ๐Ÿ’› a wee reminder to live our best life with

Love Hope and Joy in Your Soul

I am sooo happy it survived ๐Ÿ”ฅ the kiln.
Ohhhh, I can show ๐Ÿ‘€you what arrived for my next step into my journey with pottery ๐ŸŒˆ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿคธ‍♀️ they make meeee happppy ๐Ÿคธ‍♀️๐Ÿ’•๐ŸŒˆ Little pots of Underglazes ... I can now start adding my illustrations to the clay ๐Ÿฅฐ I'm sooooo exciteeed!!
๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜˜๐Ÿ˜… Can you tell?  ๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ˜˜๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿ˜ƒ

As soon as my stamp collections are away to the manufacturer ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿคž hopefully by the end of the week ๐Ÿฅฐ yoooou will find me getting messy with clay and paints ๐Ÿ˜Š๐ŸŽจ๐Ÿ–Œ until my samples arrive.
Psssssst ... the Guid ๐Ÿญ Wife is awfy busy makin hamemade soup fer me  .... soooooo ...... here ye go a wee sneak peek ... mind dinnae be lettin on it wis me if the Clans ๐Ÿญ find oot!!

If I missed you last week please accept my apologies ๐Ÿ˜Š but I will be around catching up this week.

๐Ÿ’› Whatever you have planned for the week ๐Ÿคธ‍♀️ I hope it holds much joy ๐Ÿฅฐ and magic ⭐ for you.
Be safe and well.
Catch yoooou later
Love and huuuuge (germ-free) hugs.
Tracy
๐Ÿ˜˜๐Ÿคธ‍♀️๐Ÿ˜Š

Afternoon Tracy. That bowl looks great with the soup in it. I have always thought pottery looks so much fun to try - but my hands are always split open with excema - so I reckon it probably isn't such a good idea...:-( Enjoy it!!
Glad you are now germ free again. Stay well.
Take care. God bless.

What a fabulous bowl Tracy - sorry you have been ill and hope you are feeling fit again soon. Love the alternative view of the desk from outside. Living in the Potteries there is a great shop not too far away where you can buy different glazes, potter's wheels and kilns so we are spoilt really. I must actually go and do the Wedgwood Experience at some point - especially as it is less that 2 miles from out house. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah #3

Oh hecky pecky you got the covid!!! What darned bad luck after all this time. I do hope that you are soon back to full strength. Hope the wee ones don't get it now that you have been around them. So glad the Guid Wife made you some soup - that is the kind of thing you need when you are feeling poorly.
What a perfect bowl it was served in too. You are clever making that bowl. Do you make your own glazes or buy them ready to use? I love the glaze you used, it reminds me of a Dolomite glaze I used to use.
Thanks for the sneak peek, is that a hooman I can see peeking over?
Take care, hugs, Neet 6 xx

Love your pottery. Does the under glazing mean an extra firing? Happy WOYWW and have a great week. Angela #7
