๐Happy Sunday friends, please welcome the lovely Angela Simpson to the spotlight today with not one but two step out tutorials featuring Lallianna ๐ญ Twinkle Toes.
๐ Please take a moment and help me show her some love.
A little about me ~ I`ve been crafting since I was knee high to a grasshopper. First knitting and sewing clothes for my dolls, and myself as I became more proficient. I also cross stitch and have been paper crafting for nearly twenty years, and running workshops for nearly ten years. I live in the South of England between the New Forest and the coastline in Hampshire.
I used Faber Castell Polychromos pencils to colour Lallianna and the background. The mountains, grassy bank and clouds were outlined with masks. When using Polychromos it`s best to build the colour up with lots of soft strokes. If you press too hard you will get a waxy surface that prevents blending of colours.
I used blending solution and nibs to blend the pencil and then added more colour where I thought it was needed. Little grasses were added once the blending and colouring were finished.
The words of the sentiment were stamped on white card and then cut out. These were placed down the righthand side of the card and outlined with a black fine liner. I then added and coloured the flowers. The finished piece was layered on to black card cut to 4.75 x 6.75 inches and adhered to a 5 x 7 inch white card base.
I added an insert made from white and black card cut to the same size as the front. Distress inks and the mask were used to create a softer version of the mountains. The basket of hearts was stamped and coloured.
Next up I created a Lallianna gift bag using two sheets of A4 card ~
At the bottom of this post I`m including a link to my YouTube channel showing how I created the gift bag.
On a seperate piece of card, cut to 14 x 18cm, I stamped Lallianna to the left with Versamark ink and embossed the image with white embossing powder.
I coloured Lallianna with a white pencil to give dimension and using the hearts stamp I decorated the edge of the card using white ink. Flowers were also added using the same ink.
The sentiment was stamped on light blue shimmer card, and the whole was layered onto blue shimmer card. This was then added to the finished bag.
Using a die I cut two tags, one in blue card and one in white. The blue card was decorated with a sentiment and the basket of hearts, stamped in white. The white tag was decoarated with a blue basket image.
