Join me for a Star Book tutorial ...

 Good morning crafty friends

Anne here again today with some inspiration for you...

I made a star book using a selection of Tracy's sweet characters, these are really easy to do so I hope you'll give it a go!

*

First step is to cut your panels, you can make them any size but remember the coloured backing pieces need to be about a cm wider

Mine are 15 x 9cm and 14 x 9cm. You will need 6 of each and also 2 half size panels for the front and back in your white card

To colour the panels I smooshed some distress ink on my mat, spritzed with water
and then just dabbed the card into it

Stamp each of the panels with images and sentiments then colour

Do the same with your front and back pieces

Next you need to score them all and fold. Then stick the stamped panels to the backing pieces using tape or glue at either edge.

You can assemble your book now, stick the front of one piece to the back
of the next one. You will end up with a front and back
that are not attached which make the cover.

Secure some ribbon to your book as shown and then add the cover panels.

Here's the finished project, it folds neatly and ties but then opens out into a
lovely star to display all your art work...

Hope you like it!

You can get all these adorable stamp sets from Tracy's store here

Have a fabulous day everyone and don't forget to keep popping back to see
what the rest of the team are sharing
