🩷 Craft Stamper Take it Make it Challenge - Bleach Blocking

🩷
Hello sweet friends, Friday at last and time to share my project for
Craft Stamper`s
Take it Make it Challenge
for
June
and
the theme is
'Bleach' Blocking

✨️
Technique: Simple background technique using just water and Distress ink. Create a background using Distress inks, then 'take off' blocks of the ink using a wet (and clean!) blending tool. As the water will remove the ink, it looks bleached out, hence the name of the technique. This is just a background technique, so don't forget to add in the stamping element of the challenge as well!

Soooo, I threw my nice clean pink fingers into my project, getting messy for the first time in over a month, it was a delight watching my fingers change colour, lol!
✨️
A few Tim Holtz Distress Ink Pads
{ I found the deeper tones had more of a result }
some foam pads
Dina Wakely Mixed Media Stamps
One for the Gals
{ my favourite set at the mo }

🩷
a little doodle doodle doo stitching with a fine black liner pen ... with a few loose threads for the finishing touch,
and it was done!
✨️
I loved trying out this technique and now own a batch of bleached tags just waiting to be finished.

Be sure and stop by the challenge blog for all the details and lots more inspiration from the rest of the design team, you won`t want to miss it!!

Hi Tracy. No matter how many times I look at this I am mesmerised by it. The colours are so beautifully put together! Loving this to bits.

Another beauty - there's something so moving about her positioning on the tag in relation to the colour blocking - and those little blushes of colour in her cheeks make all the difference.
