I found the shabby chic look easier to achieve. I'm not sure what that says about me .... hmmmmmm!
After much racking of the old brains ...
I managed to come up with what I thought of as ... vintage chic ...
and the 2 pages
are now

Tracy, love your vintage chic - the photos are great, very artistic. Especially the one with the youngsters where the melon replicates their smiles - love it! The use and aging of the material complements the whole concept.
